Withlacoochee River Park. Opening ceremony Saturday at 10:00 am. Closes 7 pm. Sunday opening ceremony at 10:00 am closes at 5:00 pm. There is a county park fee of $25 a day for camping with electric. Primitive camping is free. There is also R.V. camping and facilities. Vendors, crafts, Native American style flutes, blankets, Painted Ponies, Native American food, home made ice cream, flavored Indian corn pop corn (etc). Nonstop entertainment all weekend (flute players, story tellers, singers, didge players, (etc.), 1800s settlement, trails thru the woods along the river with observation tower. (flute playing, drumming, singing, story telling, fellowship), Sunday, Native American worship with "Sacred Thunder Drum" at 11:30 am till 12:00 noon. A grassroots gathering in the country. Motels 15 min away in Dade City and Zephyr Hills. A family event, No Drugs or Alcohol allowed! Come join us for a wonderful day or the whole weekend. This is a gathering, a music event. I have been told this is one of the friendliest events  around. "Public Welcome". Pets
